Key Club’s Major Emphasis Program “Children: Their Future, Our Focus”
In 1946, Key Club International challenged all Key Clubs and members to focus energies on making an international impact. This program still is followed today through the Major Emphasis Program: “Children: Their Future, Our Focus".
Our 2008-2010 Major Emphasis Initiative is LIVE 2 LEARN. The major focuses of LIVE 2 LEARN are helping five to nine year old children overcome difficulties. Allowing them to succeed and give
back to their community.
Key Club members are providing service to children in three areas:
Improving grades.

Giving back.

Growing together.
Improving grades: Mentoring, tutoring, and developing reading improvement programs are going to
be offered to these youth.
Giving back: Key Clubbers will work with primary schools to organize service projects that young students can participate in.
Growing together: Motivating imagination and learning through creative crafts and drama.
